Mascot Appearances

Bison Sports is committed to being involved in the community and working collaboratively with groups and organizations that desire to make a positive impact. An opportunity to involve Bison Sports with the work of other community groups is something that we value, and as a result, we will make every effort to support as many requests as possible.
To ensure the best experience for Bison Sports and the organizations we support, we are committed to quality events that are well planned and executed and also touch the lives of people in the community, especially youth.

Policy

1. Each request will receive fair and consistent consideration and will be confirmed based upon availability and policies.
2. All requests are at the discretion of Bison Sports and Bison Sports will decide if any appearance conflicts with its best interests.
3. Appearances will not generally last more than 2 hours.
4. The client must provide secured parking and a clean secure dressing room(not a restroom) for Billy the Bison
5. Billy does not speak but communicates through pantomimes, poses for pictures, and signs autographs.
6. Billy the Bison reserves the right to walk away from any appearance that he deems unsafe or harmful to the performer and/or guests. (No Refunds)
7. If we confirm Billy the Bison to attend your event and there is a change in the date for any reason, we cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate the new date. If any changes occur after the date has been confirmed, we ask that you notify us as soon as possible.
8. A fee for an appearance by Billy the Bison or for use of the Billy the Bison costume may apply.
9. Please contact the Bison Sports Marketing Office at (204)474-7458.
   Billy needs to have an adult to escort him and assist him at all times.

Procedure

1. All requests must be submitted using the online form(link at bottom of page), a minimum of three weeks prior to the date of the appearance.
2. Appearances are generally confirmed within ten days of receiving your complete request form. Please note that submitting a request does not guarantee an appearance.
3. After the mascot has been confirmed a representative will contact you by phone to discuss the event in more detail.
4. After the event we would like to request a copy of any photos featuring Billy the Bison at your event. We request permission to post these photos on our website.
