The Bison women’s volleyball team is the third seed for the 2010 CIS Women’s Volleyball National Championship being held from March 5-7 at the University of Alberta in Edmonton. The Bisons (15-5 regular season; 3-1 playoffs) will play #6 seed University of Toronto (14-5 regular season; 3-0 playoffs) in their first match on Friday, March 5 at 7:30 p.m. CT. The Manitoba Bison women’s hockey team will play in their sixth consecutive Canada West Final against the Alberta Pandas. The #6 CIS ranked Bisons travels to #3 ranked Alberta to face-off in the 2010 Canada West Final best-of-three series starting on Friday, March 5 at 3 p.m. CT and game two on Saturday, March 6 at 3 p.m. CT. All games will be played at Clare Drake Arena on the University of Alberta campus in Edmonton, AB.The Canada West Women's Hockey Final playoff series will be available via webcasting on Bisons TV. The Bison men’s hockey team is in action as they are two wins away from a berth in the 2010 University Cup (CIS Men’s Hockey National Championship) at Lakehead University located in Thunder Bay, ON. There are two teams from the Canada West that advance to the University Cup running from March 25-28. Manitoba will travel to play the #9 ranked Saskatchewan Huskies in Saskatoon in the Canada West Semi-Final best-of-three series. Game one starts on Friday, March 5 at 7 p.m. CT and game two is on Saturday, March 6 at 7 p.m. CT while game three, if necessary, will be on Sunday, March 7.
