25th Anniversary Duckworth Challenge

Come out and cheer on the Bison Basketball teams in the 25th annual Duckworth Challenge when they host the University of Winnipeg Wesmen at Investors Group Athletic Centre. Bring your friends, make some noise and be a part of excitement! The Bisons have already defeated the Wesmen in soccer this season, which brings the series to 1-0 in favor of the Bisons. Volleyball will face off at U of W on February 4th at 6pm & 7:30pm. 
 
What's Happening:
 
All week long leading up to the Game on Friday, February 5th Bison Sports will be on Campus at University Centre with our athletes hyping up the student body. Come visit our table and challenge our Bison Athletes to a shoot to win contest. On Friday at the HUB on the 3rd floor of University Centre, we will have poster making and face painting to get fans ready to cheer for the Bisons at 6pm.

Women's Basketball play at 6pm
Men's Basketball play at 8pm

General Admission Tickets:
  • Adults $10
  • Non U of M Students, U of M Alumni and Seniors $5
  • Children 12 and under are free
  • Tickets available at the door, cash only

Come out and enter for a chance to win a trip for two to Toronto during NBA All Star Weekend, curtsey of WESTJET.  Tickets to the NBA Centre Court  - Pre-game clinic an all-day, hands-on instructional clinics conducted by current and former NBA, WNBA and NBA Development League players.
 
Bison Basketball Alumni Night – Are you a former Bison basketball Athlete?  If you are come join us for a reception between games.  Contact bison.alumni@umanitoba.ca for more information.
 
It’s also University of Manitoba Alumni Night.  If you went to the U of M you will receive $5 entry to the game.
 
Spirit Cup  - U of M Residences will compete against each other to show who has the most spirit in the crowd.  Come be a part of the atmosphere.
 
Our 3rd floor lobby will have a DJ to be located on 3rd floor foyer as well as a Pep band will be circulating throughout the event.  Alumni Relations Street team will hand out giveaways at start of each game through to end of first quarter of men’s game.
