The Bison women's soccer team earned their first point of the 2013 conference season with a 0-0 tie at Lethbridge on Sunday, September 15.

Fifth the year veteran defender Gillian Sidon was a solid throughout the weekend as she started and played all 90 minutes in a 3-1 road loss to the top Canada West team – Calgary Dinos on Saturday, September 14. In the second match, The Winnipeg native played 66 minutes and was aggressive as she had two shots and one on goal in road tie at Lethbridge.

The Bisons (0-3-1) host Winnipeg (1-3-0) in the inaugural edition of the Duckworth Challenge game on Saturday, September 21 at 6 p.m. CT at the University of Manitoba Turf Fields – West Field (Fort Garry campus)
