History
Athletes who achieve an academic standing of 80% or better while playing on a university varsity team are recognized as Academic All-Canadians. The largest number in the school's history, 194, accomplished this standing in 2020-21. Since 1990, Academic All-Canadian status has been earned a total of 2,549 times by various Bisons.
The University of Manitoba consistently ranks among the country’s top ten universities for producing the most Academic All-Canadians.
