Garth Goodbrandson

Garth Goodbrandson is the head coach and co-founder of the University of Manitoba golf team, which was created in 200.

He 
has been a member of the Canadian PGA for over 30 years, with coaching accomplishments that include being the recipient of the Canadian PGA Junior Leader of the Year award in 1999 as well as the Manitoba PGA Junior Leader of the Year award in 1999 and 2000. He has also previously been nominated in Golf Magazine's Top 100 teachers as well as being named in the National Post as a Top 50 Teacher in Canada. Additionally, he has been the Director of Player Development for Golf Manitoba and a provincial coach for Golf Manitoba.  

Goodbrandson was also the 2012-13 University of Manitoba coach of the year and was named the Canadian University men's golf coach of the year at the end of the 2014 season, where the U of M captured the national championship. He was also selected to the Manitoba Golf Hall of Fame in 2016 as a builder.
