The U of M Bisons cheerleaders came home with a first place victory at the Sea to the Sky International Cheerleading Competition in Vancouver on March 1 and 2.
 
Several universities competed from Canada and the United States. There were several categories the team was able to participate in, however the Bisons won in the small co-ed category. This is a category that teams could have only three men on the team.
 
The small co-ed category included the Bisons squad presenting their flipping, twisting, and flexibility skills within their routine.
 
The Bisons beat Portland State University, which was the winner of the large co-ed category.
 
They come back to the prairies with the Sea and Sky Grand Champions title.
