Box Score REGINA, Sask. - The University of Regina's men's volleyball team hosted the No. 3-ranked team in the CIS on Friday, November 28 and it was the Manitoba Bisons coming away with a three-set win (25-21, 25-20, 25-15) over the Cougars at the Centre for Kinesiology, Health & Sport.

The Cougars hung with Manitoba for much of the opening two sets, but the Bisons pulled away late for a 25-21 win in the first and rode the momentum of an 11-3 run around the technical timeout to a 25-20 win in the second.

The third set was all Manitoba, with the Bisons jumping out to a 6-0 lead and never looking back. They eventually won 25-15, clinching their ninth Canada West victory of the season.

Adam DeJonckheere's 13 kills led the Bisons, while Ken Rooney had eight kills and no errors on 10 attacks for a blistering .800 hitting percentage. Setter Luke Herr had 27 assists and seven digs, while libero Caleb Hickok led all players with 14 digs and Scott Vercaigne finished with a match-high five blocks.

Brad Millers hit .400 for the Cougars (1-10) and finished with five kills, four digs, and four blocks. Joshua Nickel added a team-high nine kills, while Jacques Borgeaud led the Cougars with 13 digs.

Manitoba and Regina will close out the weekend series on Saturday, November 28 following the conclusion of the women's match. First serve is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. CT.
