Annual Minor Basketball Night at Bison basketball games at 6/8 p.m. start vs. Brandon on Friday, November 24

There will be many giveaways and prizes including a chance to win a practice with Bison basketball teams

The Bison basketball teams play their final games at home for the first half of the 2017-18 Canada West conference regular season with a weekend series against the Brandon Bobcats on November 24-25 weekend at the Investors Group Athletic Centre – IGAC (U of Manitoba Fort Garry campus). On Friday, November 24 games starting at 6 p.m. CT and 8 p.m. CT, the annual Minor Basketball Night will occur.

During the Minor Basketball Night there will be several giveaway and chances to win prizes for fans attending.


- Many giveaways and prizes including a chance to win a practice with Bison Basketball teams
- All individuals 17 and under get in free to the game
- Brandon University students receive 2 for 1 admission
- It is also intramural appreciation night and recreation services appreciation night, as members will get in for free


Tickets available at the IGAC door or at the Bison website (gobisons.ca). 

Bison Notes: The Bison women's basketball (3-5) is coming off their first weekend conference regular season sweep of one team since the 2012-13 season and on a three game winning steak and play Brandon (1-5) during the weekend. Manitoba is 1-3 at home so far this season.
The Bison men's basketball team (5-3) is tied for sixth in the standing and will host Brandon (3-3). Manitoba is 3-1 at home so far this season.
