The Bison volleyball teams travel to play at the Regina Cougars, with only two weeks left in 2017-18 Canada West regular season, on Friday, February 9 and then Saturday, February 10.
On Friday, the women's game will be at 6 p.m. CT and the men's game is scheduled for 8 p.m. CT while on Saturday, men's match starts at 5 p.m. CT and women's begin at 7 p.m. CT. Matches will be live on canadawest.tv (fee req'd).
The Bison women's volleyball team (9-11) seek their first road weekend sweep of the season and tied for eighth place in the Canada West conference standings with Top 8 teams qualify for the playoffs. Regina has a 12-10 record and in fifth place heading into the weekend series. The two teams met in conference play last season when Manitoba won 3-0 (Nov. 4/16) and won 3-1 (Nov. 5/16) at home.
In Canada West 2017-18 stats, the Bisons are 11th in hitting percentage at .156, sixth in conference kills per set at 11.32, sixth in assists at 10.61 per set, fifth in blocks at 2.24 per set, 13th in service aces at 1.35 and first in conference digs at 16.93.

Kearley Abbott is sixth at 269.
Brittany Habing is eighth in assists with 653.
Cassie Bujan is second in digs at 394 and Habing is 11th at 226.
Emily Erickson is T-10th in total blocks with 73 while
Kearley Abbott is seventh in points at 313.5.

Manitoba is tied for ninth in CW standings and Top 8 teams qualify for the playoffs. Regina has a 2-20 record and 13th heading into weekend. The two teams met in conference play last season when Manitoba won 3-0 twice (Nov. 4, 5/16) at home.
In conference 2017-18 stats, the Bison men's team is seventh in hitting percentage at .216, 11th in assists at 9.77 per set, tenth in conference kills at 10.59, first in blocks at 2.59 per set, 12th in service aces at 0.91 and 13th in conference digs at 7.87.

Scott Vercaigne is tenth with 255 and 230 respectfully.
Dylan Sutherland is tenth in assists with 357 while
Brendan Warren is first with 89 total blocks plus co-captain
Dustin Spiring is tied for sixth at 74 blocks. DeJonckheere is 14th in hitting percentage at .230 and seventh in points (299.0) while Vercaigne sits 11th in points (274.0).
