If you're a fan of daylight savings, you'll love that we're turning back the clocks even further this weekend. University of Manitoba Bisons men's and women's volleyball will celebrate Alumni / Retro Night on Friday, November 15, while women's hockey has their own Alumni Night set for Saturday, November 16.

Volleyball games on Friday are at Investors Group Athletic Centre (IGAC) with the women playing at 6 PM and the men at 7:45 PM. Women's hockey on Saturday is at Wayne Fleming Arena at 4 PM.

At volleyball on Friday, we're celebrating the best of the 80s with throwback music, outfits, and more at Alumni / Retro Night. You'll also get a taste of the success Bisons men's volleyball had during that decade, as we look back on the big screen. Finally, don't miss a special presentation before the women's volleyball match, as alumna and Olympian Michelle Sawatzky-Koop receives her induction award for the Canada West Hall of Fame.

At women's hockey on Saturday, Alumni Night invites past players and UM alumni out for a rivalry matchup between the Bisons and the Saskatchewan Huskies. Manitoba and Saskatchewan have many memorable games over the years, including a Canada West Final series back in 2017-18 — one the Bisons won on their way to their first national championship. After the game, it's Skate with the Bisons — kids in attendance can bring a helmet and skates, and join Bisons women's hockey players on the Wayne Fleming Arena ice!



UM Students get in free!
All season, all UM students get into all Bisons home games for free with their student ID. Single game tickets can be bought on game days at the door. Kids under 12, and junior volleyball players are free with pre-registration and a jersey. UM alumni also get in 2-for-1 at the Alumni games listed above.
