The combination of
Halle Edwards and
Vanessa Klimpke combined for eight points in four games against the U of R in 2021-22, while ten different players recorded at least one goal. Forward
Aimee Patrick also scored her first career goal last weekend, while impact sophomores
Julia Bird (six career goals) and
Hanna Bailey also scored for a versatile Bisons attack.
On the back end is an experienced blue line (four of six players have at least three years of experience) that blends stability and scoring touch, while
Kimberley Davidson and
Emily Shippam combined for 47 saves in week one.
The Cougars' roster blends a mix of youth and experience, and will need to be on their a-game this weekend.
