The women's hockey team hosts MacEwan in the annual Pink in the Rink Game this Saturday at 3 pm, highlighting a busy weekend on campus. The game is part of two against the Griffins, with the first occurring on Friday at 7 pm.

On the ice, the Bisons and Griffins are tied for third in Canada West's East Division, with three points each. A total of 14 different Bisons have recorded a point this year, led by three from forward
Norah Collins.
Manitoba has won six of eight games against MacEwan dating back to 2022, including three wins in four contests last season. Five different Bisons recorded at least two points during that time, scoring 16 goals overall, including three from veteran forward
Brenna Nicol.
Coming off a bye week, the Griffins will look to recapture the momentum from their last outing when they beat the division-leading Regina Cougars 3-2 in a shootout on Oct. 12. Eight different Griffins have at least a point, led by defenceman Tess Collier's two.
PLAYERS TO WATCH
MacEwan: Sydney Jack – The last time Jack was in action, she went three-for-three in shootout attempts on two different nights against Regina, including scoring the winner in the Griffins' last outing – a 3-2 triumph over Regina.
Manitoba: Norah Collins – The third-year forward has already matched her production from an injury-shortened 2023-24 season, leading the Bisons in scoring with two goals and three points in four games so far. Collins is a proven scorer, leading the Winnipeg Avros with 42 goals in 47 games in her final U18 AAA season.
