WINNIPEG -- The Manitoba Bisons recorded just five errors, flexing their muscles in a 3-0 sweep over Brandon IGAC on Saturday night to improve to 4-4.

Eve Catojo combined for 15 kills in the first set with just one error on 24 total attacks in a microcosm of a dominant 6-0 sweep overall in six total sets against the 0-6 Bobcats during the weekend. Setter
Katreena Bentley amassed 32 assists on Saturday in a diverse showing to take the second game.
"I thought our side out was really good again," said head coach
Ken Bentley.
"We were pretty clean on our side. It was another good night. Everybody contributed. I thought we had really good balance in our offence. We hit it from every zone really well. We're getting better."
Surinx led all players with 14 kills, and now has 959 in her career as a Bison, the second most in program history in the rally scoring era. She added five aces and led all players with 19 points overall, while no Bison hit lower than .367 in a diversified attack.
"To be in her third year, and to do that, these things just happen organically because she's worked so hard. She's really coming along nicely," said Bentley of Surinx.
"She's got a nice rhythm in her game. I'm happy for her."
Surinx ended ser one with a cross-court smash, while right side Chesea Siebenga ended the second with her lone kill on a cross-court dime. Middle
Brenna Bedosky ended the match with eighth kill on on 16 total attacks, committing just one error over the dominant two game set against the Bobcats.
Manitoba is on a bye this weekend, taking on Winnipeg in exhibition play on Thursday. Next conference play is Nov. 29 on the road against Regina.
