One of the WHL's top scorers has chosen the Manitoba Bisons as his next destination, as men's hockey head coach Gordon Burnett announced today the commitment of winger Dawson Pasternak.Â
The 5'9", 160-pound Winnipeg native is coming off an incredible year with the WHL's Victoria Royals, where he scored 72 points in 62 games. The assistant captain was top scorer, and has over 200 combined games of experience split between the WHL and USHL.Â
Since 2020, Pasternak has accumulated at least 20 points in three different campaigns, with a total of 147 overall over the last four years.Â
"We are thrilled to have Dawson join our team. Dawson is a very skilled hockey player that we believe is going to be a tremendous U SPORTS player and a great Bison," said Burnett.Â
"Getting to know Dawson over the course of the recruiting process, he is a mature young man and is going to be a big part or elevating our program next season."
