Women's volleyball announce Hannah Hoberg as first commit in class of 2026

A 6'0" outside and opposite hitter from Wynyard, Saskatchewan, Hoberg has been a club provincial champion and High School MVP.

Bisons women's volleyball continues to build for the future, announcing Hannah Hoberg as the first commit in the class of 2026.

A 6'0" outside and opposite hitter from Wynyard, Saskatchewan, Hoberg joins the Bisons with a list of impressive accolades. She was High School Team MVP for the Wynyard Bears in 2022, 2023 and 2024, as well as a two-time provincial champ at the club level with Huskie Volleyball Club.

Hoberg took home Best of the West titles with HVC in 2023 and 2025, and has two national club medals, earning bronze at the 15U Tier and Division 1 levels and silver at the 16U level.

"As soon as I stepped into the Bisons' gym, their cohesive culture and purpose-driven training were evident. I love the Herd mentality and strongly believe their goals align well with my values," Hoberg said. "I cannot wait to start my journey as a Bison!"

Hoberg has been a multi-sport athlete her whole career, winning a provincial title in hockey. In the classroom, she's been an Honour Roll student every year. She had the highest academic average from grades 7-10 and her overall average in grade 11 is currently 99 percent. Hoberg is interesting in pursuing a career in veterinary medicine, specifically treating large animals.
