Langley, B.C. – The University of Manitoba Bisons were unable to earn a split of their opening Canada West road weekend, falling 3-1 (25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 25-16) to the Trinity Western Spartans on Saturday afternoon at the Langley Events Centre.

Trinity Western carried that momentum into the fourth, opening an early advantage and pulling away for a 25-16 win to secure the match.
