Another Buckland Cup champion is making Manitoba his new home. The men's hockey program announced today the commitment of forward Noah Lodoen, who won an OJHL title this past season with the Toronto Patriots. Lodoen joins teammate Liam Longo, who signed with the Herd earlier today.
 
A native of Newmarket, ON, Lodoen was a consistent scoring threat during his time in the OJHL. He recorded 87 points over 148 Junior A games split between the Patriots and Haliburton County Huskies.
 
Lodoen's most productive season came during Toronto's run to the OJHL league title this year, where he recorded 23 goals and 50 points in 56 games for a Patriots squad that finished with 296 goals overall, which ranked second in the Canadian Junior Hockey League.
 
Lodoen added four points during the Centennial Cup playoffs, as Toronto advanced to the Canadian Junior Hockey League national semi-finals for the first time in program history. He is the ninth commit in the Herd's 2026-27 recruiting class, that includes six players who've captured league titles over the last two seasons. Click here for more on the complete class.
 
"An OJHL champion alongside teammate Liam Longo, Noah had an impressive Centennial Cup appearance in Summerside for Toronto. He's a hard-working 200-foot winger that makes his linemates better through his work ethic and attention to detail," said Bisons head coach Gordon Burnett.
 
"Noah excels on the penalty kill, shutting down the opposition's powerplay. We're extremely excited to add him to our forward group."
