Biography

2018: First year with Bisons. Comes to the team after playing with the Alberta Golden Bears from 2014-16. Led Alberta in sacks as a rookie in 2015. Played junior football with the Winnipeg Rifles in 2017 due to transfer rules and led the team in sacks, with five. 

Personal: Abbott enjoyed a successful run in grades 11 and 12 as a member of the vaunted St. Paul's Crusaders AAA squad. The team went a combined 20-0, including two provincial championships. Abbott also enjoyed a small stint with Alberta’s wrestling team – winning a bronze medal in his first and only tournament.
