Himpe has been assistant/video coach with Bisons men's hockey team since 2014-15 season. Prior the Bisons, he Video Coordinator with U16 Team Manitoba where we won silver at the 2015 Western Canada U-16 Challenge Cup in Calgary, AB.
In his playing career, Himpe came from the Parkland Region and played Midget AAA for the Parkland Rangers in the MMHL from 2004-06 and played Junior A with hometown Dauphin Kings in 2006-07 season before deciding to further my education at the University of Manitoba. While attending the UofM, played for the Fort Garry/Fort Rouge Twins in the MMJHL from 2007-10.
After taking a break from University, Himpe graduated in 2015 with a Bachelor of Recreation Management & Community Development. He completed my field work with the Bison's men's team and continued todays and he develops as a coach. Himpe is currently a program sssistant at Hockey Manitoba since March 2015.
