Jordy Zacharias

Jordy Zacharias has coached at all levels of hockey, including with the Bisons, where she spent the 2023-25 seasons as interim head coach. Overall, she is going into her fifth year as a coach with the program, and has led the Herd to the playoffs each of the last two years. In 2025 with Zacharias' tutelage, Manitoba won their first playoff series in six seasons, beating Trinity Western at home in the Canada West quarterfinals.

An alum of the program, Zacharias played four years at Manitoba (2016-20), and was captain in her final year. Zacharias' 68 career regular season points are the eighth most in program history since 2008-09, and she was a key part of Manitoba's national championship roster in 2017-18, as well as a four-time Academic All-Canadian, two-time Team MVP, Canada West First Team All-Star in 2017-18 and Canada West champion.

Zacharias was also named to Calgary's roster for the 2020-21 PWHPA season (unable to compete due to COVID pandemic). She obtained her Bachelor of Arts (major in psychology, minor in sociology) from UM and is currently in the final year of her Masters of Education (counselling psychology degree). She began coaching with Junior Bisons and Minu U programs throughout university, was a skills coach with The RINK Training Centre from 2019-22, and has received her High Performance 1 Coaching Certification, while also coaching with Hockey Manitoba's U16 development camps.
