2021 Women's Soccer Roster
Biography
Ahead of the 2018-19 U SPORTS soccer campaign, Gabi Clark was united with her Manitoba roots as she joined the Bison’s women’s soccer team. Born in Centreville, NS, Clark attended Shattuck-St. Mary’s – a prestigious athletic school in Minnesota – and then committed to Louisiana Tech University.
As part of the Lady Techster soccer program, she generated plenty of fruitful outcomes both on and off the pitch. With Clark in midfield, Louisiana Tech produced an outstanding 14-3-5 record and finished the season as the number four seed in the division. The Lady Techsters were only a win away from advancing to the NCAA Conference USA finals.
Clark marked her freshman year as a Conference USA All-Freshman team.
Growing up in Nova Scotia, the midfielder embraced soccer at an early age and has plenty of experience at the provincial level.
“I’ve been playing soccer since I was five and have played on different provincial Nova Scotia teams,” said Clark.
While Clark plans to advance onto medical school in the future, her goals with the Bisons’ will leave the team with plenty of enthusiasm and optimism.
“I want to become a team who is in the top of the conference.”
