Jill Amante joined the Bison Sports staff temporarily in August 2025 and then permanently in February 2026. She brings over eight years of experience working as an Athletic Therapist in the football community. She has put in years with the Provincial teams through Football Manitoba, at the high school level with Murdoch McKay Collegiate and helping to fill in wherever there was a need to ensure proper medical coverage.
Aside from her extensive football experience, she brings unique knowledge having worked in orthopedic bracing while managing and practicing in an Athletic Therapy clinic where she continued to hone her skills and work with patients.
Having worked both in the world of athletics and with the general public, Jill also continues to be a strong advocate for the profession of Athletic Therapy as the President of the Manitoba Athletic Therapy Association. Her experience and career trajectory have come together to build a solid foundation for her position as Head Athletic Therapist for the Bison Football Team. She is thrilled to be part of this program and looks forward to many years to come with the team.
