Last season was the first time Mount Royal played in Canada West and the two teams tied 1-1 at Mount Royal (Oct. 20/12). Against Alberta, the Bisons seek to snap a five game conference losing streak against the Pandas as the last time they beat them was in the 2008 season (W 4-2 on Sept. 21/08).

In other 2013 Canada West team stats, the Bisons are ninth in shots with 65, tied for seventh in saves at 24 and tied for third with two shutouts. Individually, Daniella Scerbo is tied for sixth with two assists, goalie Chloe Werle is sixth with 1.00 Goals Against Average plus Brittany MacSween and her have recorded one shutout each.
