WINNIPEG – Five different players scored in double figures for the Lethbridge Pronghorns, who improved to 4-4 with a 74-68 win over the Manitoba Bisons on Saturday at IGAC. Manitoba fell to 2-5.

Lethbridge's four leading scorers this season, in Kyra Collier, Courtney McKee, Piper Dobbelstyen and Tobore Okome finished with 14, 18, 13 and 14 points, respectively, while Kamryn Deklerk also scored ten.

The Bisons had four players in double figures, led by
Emerson Martin's 17. Rookie
Paige Schatkowsky added 13,
Anna Miko scored 12 and
Autumn Agar had ten.

Miko did most of her damage in the third quarter, scoring eight points, including six in a row as the Herd cut a double-digit Lethbridge lead to eight multiple times. She got the party started with a triple, and leads Canada West in three-point efficiency, at 52.9 percent. Defensively, Miko recorded a double-double for the second game in a row, with ten boards.

In a game where field goal percentage was similar, as were steals and turnovers, rebounding became the story.

The visitors recorded 55 boards, compared to 38 for Manitoba, getting to the free throw line 24 times as well.

Collier paced the 'Horns with 13 rebounds, recording a double-double for the first time in her U SPORTS career, while the team's leading in that department, Okome added eight. In total, five different Lethbridge players had at least five rebounds in the win.
