A two-time provincial champion at the Division 1 level, Desrochers was the straw that stirred the drink for the Cyclones, enacting his will on both ends of the floor.
He averaged 14.2 points per game, 6.8 rebounds per game, 3.6 assists per game and 3.9 steals per game in 2025-26, while also breaking the school record for steals over a two-game span, with 16 (eight and eight).
Gifted with trademark defensive intensity, Desrochers – who led the RSEQ in steals -- was named the Cyclones' Team MVP, and was also the conference's Defensive Player of the Year as well as a First Team All-Star in both the regular season and playoffs.
